There are several different colors to choose from. I was torn between the ivory and teal colors. I ended up choosing the ivory since it will match any room and goes well with everything.
The panels are nice and thick. They are not overly thick but do carry some weight. I was afraid the rods in my living room would not hold the curtains, so I tried one of the panels in my bathroom. I am going to get a different rod for my living room, so I can use both panels in there.
It did not completely block out the light, but it could be due to the curtains being a lighter color. They do block a good portion of the light, though. The room is not black completely, but it does reduce the brightness quite a bit.
There are two hanging options. You can hang them by the rod pocket or by the tabs. So essentially you can have two separate looks with these curtains. The rod pocket is wide enough, and I had no trouble sliding the rod through. It did not get hung up like some of the other curtains cause. I have not tried hanging them by the tabs yet, but may try it with another window. With the tabs, it will hold a rod up to 3 inches.
The length of the curtains is fantastic. I had no problem whatsoever with them being too short. I was not sure which length I should get, so I went with the longest which is 108" wide by 96" inches long for both panels. There is more than enough slack. I probably should have gone with the shorter length, and I will do that with the next set when the time comes to order more.
You can wash these curtains in the washing machine. The directions say to wash with cold water on the gentle/delicate cycle, and tumble dry low. They are 100% percent polyester.
I am very pleased with this set of curtains. I am a light sleeper, so I think I will be using the other panel in my bedroom, and see how well it helps my sleeping habits.
