It is a round shape, and bigger than most other diffusers I have seen or used. This one holds 500 ml. When you open the cover you will see a drain side and an air outlet side. Make sure when pouring out the old water you use the drain side. You will see the light button, high/low button, and a mist button.
When you push the Light button it will go through an array of colors. Everything from white, blues, purples, reds, oranges, and yellows. If you press it again it will stay on one color. You can go through and pick whichever color you would like for it to remain on. Once you have gone through all of the colors the light will turn off completely. If you have your diffuser running with the light on and want to turn it off instead of going through all of the colors you only have to hold the light button down for a few seconds, and it will turn off.
To turn the diffuser on you press the Mist button. You can press this button multiple times to turn your timer on or to just run continuously. The timer settings are 60, 120, and 180 minutes. After the 180 minutes, it will just either stay on or you can turn it off. I also noticed if you hold the mist button a few seconds it saves you the time of going through all of the timer options.
The other button is the High/low button. This controls how much mist you would like in the room. I did not notice a huge difference between the two. Slightly, but nothing major. Even on low it will blow out a good amount of mist. The mist is also cool. It does not heat up at all.
The maximum amount of water you should be using is 500 ml. Any more and it could spill and damage the unit. There are water levels on the inside of the unit. You can see where the max line is. Also, do not place it on anything that will block the air outlet on the bottom.
I love that after the diffuser runs out of water it will beep 3 times and then automatically shut off. You do not have to worry about it running continuously. I love using it at bedtime. It really helps our noses from stopped up, and there is no worry about burning the house down. It will literally mist all night long, and then automatically shuts off if it runs out of water. This little diffuser has ran over 8 hours.
This is a very nice diffuser. You can use it for aromatherapy. Just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil, and relax. It can make you feel like you are having a spa day.
Overall I will say this diffuser is better than most I have used. It is definitely in my top 3 picks.
I received this item at a discount for my unbiased and honest review.
